ResponsibilitiesThis position provides semi-complex clerical support to logistics management, including data entry, reviewing and completing recurring SAP transactions, receiving transactions, filing, and coordinating paper flow. Responds to inquiries relating to logistics documentation, production orders, and receiving instruction. Compiles and maintains records such as time, date, quantity, source and destination of materials received or kitted, inputs data into logistics systems, and prepares charts and reports from logistics databases.
Participates in inventory audits to detect discrepancies; performs semi-complex work within the area of import documentation support; compiles and maintains all receiving documentation (bills of lading, pro forma invoices, commercial invoices, country of origin certificates, and other required customs documents for inbound receipts). Interprets documented logistics rules, practices, or instructions on a semi-independent level; identifies problems as they occur and takes appropriate steps to resolve them in non-complex situations.
Reports to the Logistics Manager and takes day-to-day operational direction from Logistics Supervisor(s).
- Review and complete recurring SAP transactions.
- Monitor internal and external water levels.
- Review and provide updates on sequence as needed.
- Coordinate with Supervisors and Foreman to determine root causes for discrepancies.
- Ensure items are properly kitted and production orders are completed in a timely manner.
- Coordinate daily inbound shipments for parcel, air freight, LTL, and truckload.
- Compile and maintain records such as time, date, quantity, source and destination of materials received or kitted.
Basic Qualifications
- Must have good knowledge of SAP transactions
- Must have working knowledge of Excel and/or other MS Office software
- Must be able to work independently yet collaborate with other departments on procurement issues and cross-functional teams
- 2-5 years minimum experience in a logistics or manufacturing environment
- HS diploma or equivalent required

Pay range: $49,480 - $84,823 annually. The actual wage offered may be lower or higher depending on budget and candidate experience, knowledge, skills, qualifications, and premium geographic location.
