Warehouse Associate -Shipping; SC

A Warehouse Associate is responsible for the portion of the warehouse function (picking, scanning, shipping). The associate is accountable for handling and processing all orders received in the picking, scanning, shipping, receiving and/or returns areas. Though assigned to a section, all are trained in various areas and work where needed as directed by supervisor.

• Select stock according to store order (picking and packing instructions)
• Accurately record quantities selected (or shorted) maintaining the company standard error rate
• Adhere to all safety guidelines, and Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) preventing incidents or injury to self or others
• Perform assigned tasks to maintain a clean and safe working environment
• Perform general physical activities in warehouse; loading, unloading, sorting and moving products and materials manually and using material handling equipment
• Read work orders and received verbal instructions for work assignments
• Fill and complete order receipts
• Transport filled orders to and from shipping area
• Stock shelves and kept stock clean and in sequence
• This position requires a high degree of accuracy and attention

• At least 18 years of age
• High School Graduate or equivalent
• Warehouse experience preferred but not required
• Applicant must be able to pass a drug test and background investigation
