Two‑year technical or junior college degree or equivalent work experience (four years) and 3–5 years of warehouse/distribution center experience, preferably with supervisory and servant‑leadership approach. Working knowledge of Inventory Management Systems and related electronic devices common in warehouse/distribution environment. Ability to lift, bend, squat, stand, move up to 50 pounds, and operate a forklift. - Work Authorization:

The Warehouse Operations Manager will manage the operations of the assigned warehouse facility. They will ensure all warehouse‑owned resources are maintained and that inventory is handled and stored safely, ensuring on‑time and on‑budget distribution of marketing products critical to fundraising efforts. They will oversee repairs and configuration of inventory and support World Vision’s mission through Christian stewardship.
Responsibilities- Keep Christ central in individual and corporate life. Actively participate in spiritual disciplines of the organization (Christian conduct, chapel, prayer, worship, devotions, leadership of devotions) and incorporate World Vision Core Values into decisions within scope of the role.
- Maintain a safe and efficient work environment. Develop and maintain warehouse procedures and safety standards, ensuring all safety measures are operational and adhered to.
- Ensure all warehouse assets are properly maintained and safe storage used for a variety of inventory types.
- Research and stay informed on best practices; implement within the warehouse.
- Work with department leaders to assess and determine cost‑saving approaches to meet warehousing/distribution needs.
- Oversee and schedule the work of warehouse staff for timely and accurate material handling.
- Fill time‑sensitive warehouse orders for in‑house, domestic and international shipping.
- Receive, process incoming deliveries, and respond promptly to user/customer inquiries regarding inventory, order filling, and receiving.
- Conduct inventory reconciliation and maintain adequate supply levels based on anticipated business needs.
- Inspect and repair or oversee repair of inventory; may include setting up and configuring handheld electronic devices.
- Maintain and operate standard warehouse equipment, such as pallet jacks and forklifts, to store and retrieve inventory.
- Make routine deliveries and pick‑ups as needed.
- Complete and maintain shipping/receiving and inventory documentation in appropriate databases; prepare management reports as required.
- Research and validate incoming invoices for payment when necessary.
- Monitor corporate supplies inventory and notify material owners when reordering is needed.
- Work with vendors to order, contract, or maintain equipment and other warehouse supplies.
- Analyze performance of existing shipping and receiving systems and vendor contracts, recommending efficiency improvements.
- Schedule volunteer use and/or product distribution with volunteer groups and ministry partners when applicable.
- Perform additional duties as assigned and collaborate with team members.
- Stay informed on organizational announcements via WVUS Intranet and other corporate communication tools.
