Monday–Friday 5:30 AM–3:00 PM (or complete). Please note flexibility in schedule will be required based on business needs, which may include working different hours or days.

This position is located onsite at our facility in Grand Prairie, TX. There is no option for remote or hybrid work.
This role supports Cencora's veterinary and livestock production solutions marketed through our MWI Animal Health business. MWI Animal Health is a leading brand of Cencora, offering animal health services globally.
Role SummaryThe primary role of the Warehouse Supervisor is the hiring, termination, direction and performance of associates. The Warehouse Supervisor also oversees functional areas of the warehouse such as receiving, shipping, returns, picking, packing, checking, stocking, order filling, returns and management of the cage/vault as well as overseeing the verification and record keeping of outgoing shipments of controlled substances to customers. The warehouse may have different degrees of radio‑frequency (RF) devices to be used for these tasks.
The warehouse supervisor is also responsible to ensure that all safety guidelines are followed. Directs the workflow, motivates, trains and monitors the performance of warehouse associates. Monitors work processes and makes suggestions for modifications to increase and improve productivity, efficiency and accuracy for improving costs; implements changes as directed or needed. Supports compliance with all appropriate policies, procedures, safety rules and DEA regulations.

- Overseeing functional areas such as receiving, shipping, returns, picking, packing, checking, stocking, order filling, returns, and management of the cage/vault.
- Overseeing verification and record‑keeping of outgoing shipments of controlled substances.
- Ensuring all safety guidelines are followed.
- Directing workflow, motivating, training, and monitoring performance of warehouse associates.
- Monitoring work processes and suggesting modifications to increase productivity, efficiency and accuracy; implementing changes as directed.
- Supporting compliance with policies, procedures, safety rules and DEA regulations.
- Coaching employees to support development in the role.
- Supervising receipt of merchandise, ensuring only products intended for the Distribution Center are accepted; maintaining daily logs with accurate information.
- Overseeing staff in counting, weighing, and identifying items being shipped; checking materials against invoices, bills of lading, customer orders and similar documents.
- Overseeing staff in filling orders, double‑checking and shipping controlled substances with cage/vault clerks or order fillers.
- Maintaining records of the delivery process such as time, date, quantity, source and destination of materials shipped.
- Overseeing manifests of routes and departures to ensure timely customer receipt of merchandise.
- Interacting with customers to resolve delivery or order filling issues.
- Maintaining records documenting order‑filling process such as quantity, size, strength and NDC numbers.
- Overseeing quality of packing, protecting breakable items for satisfactory customer arrival.
- Maintaining detailed records of incoming and outgoing controlled substances in the cage/vault area.
- Tracking attendance, monitoring performance and managing overtime for associates.
- Performing related duties as assigned.
- Broad training in fields such as business administration, accountancy, sales, marketing, computer sciences or similar vocations; typically a four‑year bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of experience and education.
