Material Handler

Material Handler – Grand Prairie, TX

Airbus Helicopters is looking for a Material Handler to join our team based in Grand Prairie, TX.

• Receiving, stocking, picking, and shipping materials.
• Displaying knowledge of warehouse and inventory control procedures.
• Preparing or completing all required forms, records, and documents to ensure accountability for all transactions.
• Performing cleaning, disassembly, sanding, application of filler material, and preparation of rotor blades for repair and painting.
• Executing work from technical manuals, work orders, and inspection reports.
• Cutting and preparing materials for rotor blade repairs.
• Moving rotor blades as required within the Airbus Helicopters facility.
• Assisting other technicians in the blade shop as needed.
• Participating in company training activities.

• High school education or equivalent.
• Minimum of 3 years related warehouse experience.

• Prior SAP experience.

• Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Good customer service skills.
• Detail oriented.
• Ability to communicate effectively in English.
• Use of a computer.

• Onsite: 100% onsite.
• Daily: vision, hearing, speaking, hearing, operating computer and warehouse equipment including forklift and cherry picker; carrying, lifting, pushing and pulling up to 50 lbs (23 kg); walking, standing, sitting, squatting, kneeling as required.
• Personal Protective Equipment: safety shoes, safety glasses, hearing protection, respirators/masks, and gloves as required; steel‑toed shoes for shop floor visits.
