Inventory Clerk - 2nd Shift

Penske Logistics is looking for Inventory Clerk associates to become part of an excellent team at our Grand Prairie, TX location. This is a great opportunity for individuals who are safety conscious and have a pleasant, outgoing attitude and want to excel in a warehouse environment.

Position:
Inventory Clerk 2nd Shift
Scheduled:
Monday-Friday 4:30 PM – until end of production (Schedule will be discussed during NHO.)
Wage: $21.67 p/h

• Complete cycle counts, random audits and reconciliations.
• Resolve inventory problems in a timely manner.
• Research and reconcile product discrepancies/variances of over/under amounts and damaged product.
• Conduct searches to locate misclassified inventory.
• Escalate issues timely and directly to supervisor.
• Complete all other duties as assigned by Supervisor.

• Reach Truck Operator
• Double Pallet Jack
• Cherry Picker

• Regularly required to stand, walk, use hands and arms to reach.
• Regularly lift or move 25 pounds and occasionally lift or move up to 60 pounds.

• 2 years of general office experience required.
• 1 year of customer service experience required.
• No prior general warehouse experience required, but strongly preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Proficient reading skills and ability to follow directions required.
• Ability to work independently, customer service orientation, multi‑tasking, organizational skills, flexible, excellent with numbers and time management skills required.
• Flexible to work overtime preferred.
• Advanced computer skills including Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint required.
• AS400 experience preferred.
• Regular, predictable, full attendance is an essential function of the job.
• Willingness to travel as necessary, work the required schedule, work at the specific location required, complete Penske employment application, submit to a background investigation (including past employment, education, and criminal history) and drug screening.
