ICQA Warehouse Lead

Under general supervision, the Warehouse ICQA Lead is responsible for the overall inventory, safety, productivity, and quality within the Quality Control Department. The Warehouse ICQA Lead works closely with leadership and all functional areas in the warehouse to ensure both excellent customer service and efficient warehousing objectives are met. This individual will monitor inventory to ensure daily operations are executed properly and efficiently.

As a team lead in the service center, you will be expected to demonstrate the ability to engage, communicate, and coach team members.

• Communicate daily production needs with Inventory Control Manager and associates throughout each shift.
• Ensures the warehouse is a safe environment, and 5s standards are being met.
• Assigns and leads work as directed by the Warehouse Manager.
• Verifies all orders are fulfilled accurately and timely.
• Assists in providing coaching and training to all associates; identifies and discusses mistakes with associate to provide opportunity for associates’ continuous improvement.
• Oversees the warehouse area has adequate supplies and materials.
• Ensures that all equipment is in proper working condition.
• Support continuous improvement activities.

• 3 – 7 years of Quality and Inventory Control experience.
• Proven ability to effectively lead a team.
• High School Degree or equivalent.
• On a continuous basis: work in a standing position, bend and lift up to 50 lbs.
• Familiarity with both LTL and UPS shipping.
• Excellent communication, data entry, basic math and organization skills.
• Experience working with standard hand and power tools.
• Ability to work in a team setting.
