Job Overview
Shift Pipe Yard Associate
Location:
Grand Prairie, TX – 1st Shift (Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM‑5:00 PM). This role focuses on safe, accurate, and reliable material handling in a yards environment.
- Starting pay: $22.00 per hour
- Incentive bonus eligibility

- Ability to work overtime and extended hours as required
- Comfortable working outdoors, physically active, able to lift up to 50 lbs and perform repetitive movements
- Prior warehouse, yard, or distribution experience preferred
- Experience operating powered industrial equipment (forklifts or similar) preferred
- Readiness to learn distribution technology such as RF scanners
- Regular and reliable attendance; ability to work in a fast‑paced environment
- Commitment to safety policies and personal protective equipment (PPE)
- Detail‑oriented, team player with strong work ethic and willingness to assist where needed
- Safely operate forklifts and other yard powered industrial equipment to move, load, and unload pipe and materials
- Receive, inspect, and verify incoming materials for accuracy and quality
- Stock, organize, and maintain yard inventory to ensure efficient material flow
- Accurately pick, stage, and prepare customer orders for shipment
- Prioritize daily tasks to meet shipping timelines and support operational needs
- Maintain product accuracy, quality, and safety by following standard operating procedures
- Keep the yard clean, organized, and hazard‑free
- Follow all safety procedures, OSHA standards, and company policies at all times
- Participate in safety observations, audits, and team meetings
- Communicate effectively with team members to support a collaborative work environment
