Job Overview

Shift Pipe Yard Associate

Location:

Grand Prairie, TX – 1st Shift (Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM‑5:00 PM). This role focuses on safe, accurate, and reliable material handling in a yards environment.

Qualifications
  • Ability to work overtime and extended hours as required
  • Comfortable working outdoors, physically active, able to lift up to 50 lbs and perform repetitive movements
  • Prior warehouse, yard, or distribution experience preferred
  • Experience operating powered industrial equipment (forklifts or similar) preferred
  • Readiness to learn distribution technology such as RF scanners
  • Regular and reliable attendance; ability to work in a fast‑paced environment
  • Commitment to safety policies and personal protective equipment (PPE)
  • Detail‑oriented, team player with strong work ethic and willingness to assist where needed
Responsibilities
  • Safely operate forklifts and other yard powered industrial equipment to move, load, and unload pipe and materials
  • Receive, inspect, and verify incoming materials for accuracy and quality
  • Stock, organize, and maintain yard inventory to ensure efficient material flow
  • Accurately pick, stage, and prepare customer orders for shipment
  • Prioritize daily tasks to meet shipping timelines and support operational needs
  • Maintain product accuracy, quality, and safety by following standard operating procedures
  • Keep the yard clean, organized, and hazard‑free
  • Follow all safety procedures, OSHA standards, and company policies at all times
  • Participate in safety observations, audits, and team meetings
  • Communicate effectively with team members to support a collaborative work environment
