Warehouse Associate

Overview

Responsible for unloading freight from the various trucking companies with or without manual or powered equipment at the assigned location at the direction of the Supervisor and Site Manager.

• Unload and break down freight at an adequate pace.
• Potentially be trained to operate forklift or electric pallet jack.
• Assist with loading/unloading with manual or powered equipment as required.
• Maintain a safe work environment and follow all safety procedures.
• Meet fast‑paced productivity goals and standards.

The job requires regular use of hands, reach, and arms; continuous lifting and moving of 50‑75 lbs. It involves standing, walking, stooping, kneeling, crouching, crawling, occasional sitting, climbing, or balancing. The employee must meet hearing and vision requirements for safety and communication, and reliable transportation to and from work.

• Ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
• Physical stamina to work in a demanding warehouse environment.
• Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including weekends, holidays, and overtime.

• Any combination of education and experience that demonstrates the knowledge and ability to perform the work.
• Warehouse experience is a plus.
• Preferred: experience operating forklift or electric pallet jack (training and certification will be provided).

• Ability to move up 50‑75 lbs continuously.
• Pass a pre‑employment drug screen and criminal background check.
• Reliable transportation to and from work.
