Morrison Industries is looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Accounts Receivable Specialist to join our fast-paced, high-volume accounting team at our corporate office located at 1825 Monroe NW, Grand Rapids, MI 49505. This is a full-time position Monday through Friday, 8am to 5pm.
The starting pay range for this position is $21.00 - $25.00 per hour, based on experience and qualifications.
Essential Functions:- Process incoming payments in compliance with company policies and procedures
- Process and run credit cards
- Set up new accounts and provide maintenance on current accounts
- Handle inquiries from customers regarding payments and billing issues
- Compile and maintain spreadsheets for month end reporting
- Other tasks and special projects as assigned
- High School diploma or GED required;
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, or related field preferred. - Basic understanding of accounting principles and accounts receivable processes
- Proficient in Microsoft Office- especially Excel
- Strong attention to detail with a dedication to accuracy
- Good communication, customer service and problem-solving skills
- Ability to multi-task
- This position involves extended periods of computer use.
- Requires the ability to review detailed documents such as invoices and reports.
- May occasionally require lifting or moving items up to 20 pounds within the office environment.
