Accounting Specialist

We are seeking a detail-oriented and dependable Temporary Accounting Specialist to support daily accounting operations. This role will be responsible for handling a variety of accounting functions including accounts payable, accounts receivable, reconciliations, and financial reporting. The ideal candidate is highly organized, analytical, and able to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

* Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions with accuracy and timeliness

* Reconcile bank accounts, credit cards, and general ledger accounts

* Assist with month-end close activities, including journal entries and account reconciliations

* Review and verify financial data to ensure accuracy and compliance

* Maintain and update financial records, reports, and documentation

* Support payroll processing and related accounting entries, as needed

* Investigate and resolve discrepancies in financial records and transactions

* Assist with audits and provide supporting documentation as requested

* Collaborate cross-functionally with internal teams to support financial operations

Qualifications:

* 2+ years of accounting, bookkeeping, or related experience

* Knowledge of accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general accounting principles

* Experience with ERP or accounting systems (e.g., Quick Books, Net Suite, SAP, or similar)

* Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including basic formulas and data organization

* Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and reporting

* Excellent organizational and time management skills

* Strong communication and problem-solving abilities

Preferred Qualifications:

* Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field

* Experience with reconciliations and month-end close processes

* Exposure to payroll or multi-functional accounting responsibilities

Pay Details: $20.00 to $25.00 per hour
