Accounting Lead
Are you a hands-on accounting leader who likes ownership, clean processes, and making things run the right way?
ITPartners+ is looking for an Accounting Lead to own day-to-day accounting operations and bring consistency, discipline, and clarity to our close, billing, and accounting workflows. This is a hands-on operational role where you will prepare work, review work, and improve how accounting gets done.

Key ResponsibilitiesWhat success looks like
- The monthly close runs through clear calendars and checklists
- Accounting schedules are organized, supported, and repeatable
- Revenue and spend risks are identified early, not after the fact
- Leadership and/or fractional CFO receives reviewed outputs and clear exceptions
- Accounting operations scale smoothly as the business grows
Required qualifications
- 7+ years of accounting experience
- Prior controller, assistant controller, or accounting manager experience
- Strong month-end close ownership and review experience
- Solid knowledge of AP, AR, payroll accounting, accruals, and reconciliations
- Strong Excel skills and comfort working with accounting extracts and schedules
Preferred experience
- MSP, IT services, or professional services environments
- Quick Books online and related finance systems
- Recurring revenue, WIP, or project-based accounting
- Acquisition-active or multi-entity environments
- Experience using automation or workflow tools in accounting operations
