- Support the preparation and analysis of operational results, operating trends, customer profitability, capital projects, and incentive plan calculations.
- Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and special projects to help management achieve operational objectives.
- Collaborate with the Controller to develop and refine accounting processes and improve process documentation.
- Maintain and enhance internal controls, accounting policies, and procedures.
- Provide financial analysis, including interpretation and application of professional standards, company policies, and processes.
- Prepare journal vouchers and participate in month‑end close activities.
- Perform daily financial activities for the plant, ensuring accurate and timely completion of daily, weekly, and monthly reports.
- Conduct data entry and use systems as tools for research and financial analysis.
- Complete various reporting requirements in accordance with financial policies and capital investment manuals.
- Ensure applicable internal controls are followed across all areas of responsibility.
- Investigate, review, and evaluate financial transactions and recommend appropriate accounting treatment.
- Review and approve production hours entered into the payroll system, balancing hours and maintaining accuracy.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field is required.
- 3+ years of accounting and/or finance experience.
- Demonstrated knowledge of general business management principles, internal financial management, and industry practices.
- Effective communication skills with the ability to engage business leaders at various levels and functions.
- Demonstrated ability to influence peers and management.
- CPA or CMA certification is a plus.
- Prior experience in a manufacturing facility is highly desirable.
- Finance experience in corrugated, printing, packaging, or a related manufacturing environment is a plus.
- Security clearance is not required.

- Overtime, commission, and bonus are not applicable to this role.

- Occasional travel may be required.
