Senior Accounting Services Specialist
Earnings Edge is looking for a Senior Accounting Services Specialist to join our growing team. In this role, you'll work directly with credit unions to provide expert accounting support, assist with new client conversions, troubleshoot complex accounting issues, and help clients succeed long after implementation. If you have a strong background in credit union back-office accounting, enjoy solving problems, and like working with clients, this is an opportunity to make a real impact while expanding your professional expertise.
This is an in-office only position that does require travel.
What You'll Do- Lead accounting support activities for newly converted credit unions from pre-conversion through post-conversion.
- Provide ongoing back-office accounting support and consultation to client credit unions.
- Troubleshoot balancing issues and resolve complex accounting questions.
- Support:
General ledger balancing, Subsidiary and investment balancing, End-of-month processing, Accrual processing, Budget preparation, 5300 Call Report reporting, Escalated accounting service tickets. - Train internal staff and client personnel on accounting procedures and best practices.
- Develop and maintain process documentation and procedural guides.

* Answers departments to ensure successful client implementations. - Take ownership of projects while meeting deadlines and maintaining exceptional client service.
- Travel occasionally for client conversions, consulting engagements, or remote support as needed.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, or related field-or equivalent experience.
- Minimum of 3 years of banking or credit union back-office processing experience.
- Strong understanding of credit union accounting operations.
- Experience with:
General ledger balancing, End-of-month accounting, Financial reporting, Troubleshooting accounting discrepancies. - Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Strong communication and customer service abilities.
- High level of attention to detail and accuracy.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word, and PowerPoint).
- Ability to work independently while collaborating across multiple teams.
- Flexibility to work occasional off-hours and travel when necessary.
