Senior SAP FICO Consultant (Revenue Recognition & Project-Based Manufacturing)
Contract through February 2027
RED Global is seeking a Senior SAP FICO Consultant to support a large-scale SAP initiative for a leading industrial manufacturing organization.
We are looking for a strong SAP Finance professional with deep expertise in Revenue Recognition, Product Costing, and complex project-based manufacturing environments. This role will partner closely with finance, operations, and cross-functional SAP teams to support ongoing transformation efforts and process optimization initiatives.
Responsibilities- Lead SAP FICO design, configuration, and solution delivery activities
- Support and optimize financial processes across GL, AP, AR, Fixed Assets, Cost Center Accounting, Profit Center Accounting, Internal Orders, and Product Costing
- Provide expertise in SAP Revenue Recognition and Revenue Accounting processes
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into SAP solutions
- Support integration activities across Finance and other SAP modules
- Participate in testing, defect resolution, deployment, and post-go-live support
- Serve as a trusted advisor to both business and technical teams throughout the project lifecycle
- Extensive hands‑on SAP FICO experience
- Strong expertise across:
General Ledger (GL), Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), Fixed Assets (FA), Product Costing, Cost Center Accounting, Profit Center Accounting, Internal Orders - Experience with SAP Revenue Accounting and Reporting (RAR) and/or Revenue Recognition
- Experience supporting complex project-based manufacturing environments, including Engineer-to-Order (ETO), Make-to-Order (MTO), or highly customized product delivery models
- Strong understanding of cross‑functional SAP integrations and end-to-end business processes
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Experience supporting large-scale SAP transformation programs
- Background in industrial, engineering, capital equipment, or complex manufacturing environments
This role requires approximately 50% travel to client locations in:
- Cuba, Missouri
Travel expenses will be reimbursed.
