We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Senior Accountant
. The Senior Accountant will play a critical role in maintaining accurate financial records, overseeing month-end close activities, preparing financial reports, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards and company policies. This position is ideal for a motivated accounting professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys contributing to process improvements and financial decision-making.
- Lead month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes.
- Prepare and review journal entries, account reconciliations, and financial statements.
- Analyze financial data and provide insights to support business decisions.
- Maintain general ledger accuracy and ensure compliance with GAAP.
- Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
- Reconcile balance sheet and income statement accounts.
- Support internal and external audits by preparing schedules and documentation.
- Review fixed assets, depreciation schedules, and accruals.
- Assist with cash flow reporting and treasury-related activities.
- Research and resolve accounting discrepancies and complex transactions.
- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
- Collaborate with cross-functional departments to support organizational objectives.
- Mentor and provide guidance to junior accounting staff as needed.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- 4+ years of progressive accounting experience.
- Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting.
- Experience with month-end and year-end close processes.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including Pivot Tables, VLOOKUPs, and financial analysis.
- Experience with ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, Net Suite, Sage, Microsoft Dynamics, or similar.
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
- CPA designation or CPA eligibility is preferred but not required.
Pay Details: $36.00 to $46.00 per hour
