Accounts Payable Associate

Location: Grand Rapids, MI
Pay: Up to $24/hour
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:30 AM-5:00 PM (Onsite)

Responsibilities

Code and process vendor invoices accurately in Net Suite
Follow up with park locations regarding invoice questions and approvals
Create and maintain new vendor records in Net Suite
Communicate with staff regarding accounts payable inquiries via email and internal workflow tools
Assist with twice-weekly check runs, including preparing and processing payments
Help ensure invoices are processed accurately and on time while maintaining strong attention to detail
Support the accounting team with additional AP-related projects as needed

Qualifications

Required:

At least 1 year of accounts payable experience (for temporary candidates without a degree)
Associate degree in Accounting, Business, or a related field strongly preferred
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Excellent communication and customer service skills

For Temp-to-Hire Consideration:

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business, or a related field preferred
Candidates with a bachelor's degree in another discipline plus relevant accounting experience will also be considered
Recent graduates with an accounting internship are encouraged to apply

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with Net Suite
Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
Experience in real estate, property management, or REIT accounting
