The Accounting Administrator is responsible for supporting the organization's financial operations by maintaining accurate financial records, processing transactions, preparing reports, and ensuring compliance with company policies and accounting standards. This role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to handle confidential financial information.
Key Responsibilities- Process accounts payable transactions
- Assist with the whole accounts payable process - auditing, banking
- Own the credit card process
- Invoice customers
- Prepare and maintain financial records, invoices, and payment documentation
- Maintain general ledger entries and ensure accuracy of financial data.
- Assist with audits by preparing required documentation.
- Respond to vendor and customer inquiries regarding billing and payments.
- File and organize financial documents for easy retrieval.
- Perform other administrative and accounting duties as assigned
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
- 2+ years of accounting or bookkeeping experience.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (such as Quick Books, Sage, or Microsoft Dynamics).
- Understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and problem‑solving abilities.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
