Position Overview

Parlay your Acumatica experience into meaningful growth in 2026. We are a fast‑growing CNC reseller, located in northwest Grand Rapids. Building for a scalable future, we are upgrading from Quick Books to Acumatica.

The Senior Accountant will serve as the subject‑matter expert from day one as we target a Q1 conversion.

Responsibilities include:

• Create and post invoices
• Post payments and pay invoices
• Generate purchase orders
• Book journal entries
• Run payroll
• Manage inventory
• Track time and expense reporting

Guide two experienced part‑time Accounts‑Receivable and Accounts‑Payable specialists, and work under a seasoned Financial Controller.

Own the accounting function, master it, then transition into FP&A and broader financial roles such as banking, audit management, CPA liaison, and strategic planning as the company expands nationwide.

No degree required, but the company will fund further education if desired or support CPA certification.

Applicants must have:

• Practical, day‑to‑day Acumatica experience – not limited to consulting or contractor roles.
• Responsibility for creating invoices, posting payments, paying invoices, generating purchase orders, booking journal entries, running payroll, managing inventory, and time & expense reporting.
• Hands‑on experience with full cycle accounting in Acumatica.

On‑site position in northwest Grand Rapids, 2 miles west of the Meijer headquarters. Flexible hours to accommodate your busy life.

Fully paid health insurance, three‑week paid vacation, and ten company holidays.

Private, family‑owned business with a successful second generation. Pay range is $70,000 to $80,000.
