Job Title: Title Clerk (Automotive Purchasing) – Temp-Hire
Location: Alpine area
Shift: First Shift, Monday–Friday, 8 AM – 5 PM
Pay: $18–$20/hr DOE
About the RoleWe’re seeking an organized, detail-oriented Title Clerk to join our automotive purchasing team! In this front-line role, you’ll help with vehicle sales paperwork, process vehicle titles, and support our team with various office tasks.
Key Responsibilities- Greet customers and answer phones.
- Assist with vehicle sales paperwork and miscellaneous office tasks.
- Process vehicle titles both in-house and with the State.
- Maintain knowledge of title/Secretary of State procedures, tag registration, and CVR.
- Work directly with tow companies, drivers, and adjusters for vehicle dispatching.
- Accurately handle paperwork and update status in our inventory control system.
- Communicate issues or changes to relevant staff.
- Support the office team during PTO or as needed on special projects.
- Data entry, filing, reporting, and tracking dispatch and vehicle statuses.
- Eagerness to learn and grow within the automotive industry.
- Experience in title and tag registration is a plus.
- Proficient computer skills, especially Excel.
- Strong communication and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to prioritize and multi-task efficiently.
- Meticulous attention to detail and accuracy.
- Collaborative team player with a positive attitude.
