Part Time Administrative Assistant
Classification: Part time – mornings/afternoons up to 20hr/wk, Non-Exempt, competitive hourly rate commensurate with experience.
About the Position
:
The Administrative Assistant’s primary responsibility is to support the Finance and Operation Managers. The ideal candidate will bring both experience in an office setting and a servant-oriented heart, understanding that maintaining a warm and welcoming environment serves the greater purpose of enabling ministry and supporting our community of faith.
- Record keeping
- Database management
- Background checks
- Credit card reconciliations
- Sending quarterly giving statements
- Sending acknowledgement letters to donors
- Ordering and maintaining office supplies
- Updating attendance & sign up sheets for church services and events
- Assist in planning luncheons, events, and New Member Orientations
- Printing music, cards, and directories as needed
- Filing
- Maintaining first aid kits
- Answering phones
- New visitor welcome letters & emails
- Other duties as assigned

- A positive attitude and eagerness to learn
- Self-starter, able to recognize tasks that need to be completed and ensure they are done in a timely manner
- Work well with others as a team to accomplish church goals

- Prior office experience is preferred, but will train the right candidate.
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently with minimal supervision
- Experience working with Google Drive
- Ability to learn new databases
- Able to multi-task in a busy office environment
- Customer service experience preferred, both in person and over the phone
