** What a Patient Scheduling Representative will do:*
* + Schedule outpatient hospital procedures over the phone, while providing a high-level customer service experience.

+ Obtain, verify orders and referrals from providers.

+ Obtaining patient demographics.

+ Verify that ordered procedures have been authorized by insurance.

+ Provide instructions to patients on test / procedure preparation.

** What Patient Scheduling Representative will need:*
* + High school Diploma or equivalent.

+ Medical Terminology

+ Data entry, and technical skills including 50-60 keystrokes per min.

+ Preferred previous experience min of 1 year in medical office, or hospital-based setting.
