The Technology Business Intern provides administrative and business support to Technology Services leadership, assisting with documentation, data management, budgeting, and special projects.
What You'll Do:Administrative & Data Support
- Prepare documents and perform data entry.
- Manage department calendars and assist with meeting coordination.
- Maintain department contact lists and track time-off requests.
- Assist with office supply purchasing.
- Develop, update, and maintain forms and process documentation.
- Assist with creation, maintenance, and improvement of internal content, templates, and process documentation, including training and onboarding materials.
- Assist with invoice processing and credit card expense documentation.
- Maintain expense reports and budget tracking spreadsheets.
- Support system maintenance, support, and consulting budget tracking.
- Respond to inquiries and issues in a timely manner.
- Learn and support new platforms and systems as required.
- Recently graduated with business related degree, or Junior status or higher at an accredited four-year institution.
- Must demonstrate strong facilitation skills, negotiation skills and the ability to document thoroughly.
- Demonstrated excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and oral with the ability to interface with a diverse array of audiences and stakeholders.
- Ability to handle multiple priorities and deadlines with exceptional attention to detail, organization, confidentiality, and follow through.
- Demonstrated proficiency in Google Suite and Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint, database experience preferred.
- Assist with creation, maintenance, and improvement of internal content, templates, and process documentation, including training and onboarding materials.
- Strong judgement and comfort-level working with confidential, sensitive, and proprietary information, as well as an uncompromised commitment to the highest level of confidentiality.
- Have the willingness and ability to learn and improve necessary processes throughout the duration of the internship.
- Assist with creation, maintenance, and improvement of internal content, templates, and process documentation, including training and onboarding materials.
- Must be able to lift/transport boxes of approximately thirty (30) pounds; stoop, bend, and climb steps and stairs.
