Body Shop Detailer

Location: Kool Automotive Group – Grand Rapids, MI
Job Type: Full-Time
Compensation: Starting at $18-$20/hour based on experience

Our collision center is growing, and we are looking for a reliable and hardworking Body Shop Detailer to join our team.

The Body Shop Detailer is responsible for cleaning and preparing vehicles before and after collision repairs. This role helps ensure customers receive their vehicles back in excellent condition and supports the overall efficiency of the body shop team.

• Wash, vacuum, and detail customer vehicles after repairs are completed
• Clean vehicle interiors and exteriors thoroughly and efficiently
• Remove dust, residue, and debris from repair work areas on vehicles
• Assist with vehicle staging and movement throughout the body shop lot
• Inspect completed vehicles for cleanliness and presentation quality
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the detailing area and shop
• Follow all company safety procedures and guidelines
• Support body shop staff with additional duties as needed

• Previous detailing experience preferred, but not required
• Strong attention to detail and pride in quality work
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Dependable with strong attendance and work ethic
• Ability to stand, bend, and move throughout the day
• Valid driver’s license with a good driving record required
