Job Summary
As a Business Development Financial Modeling Advisor, you advance Corewell Health’s business and market development strategies. You develop solid financial evaluations, models, analysis and planning to support new business opportunities, market and geographic expansions, service growth initiatives, and other growth projects. You partner with BD and Market Development teams to formulate business cases, create financial scenarios, and support partnerships, joint ventures, acquisitions, divestitures, and organic growth plans.
You maintain a suite of quantitative models to provide system and market analysis and collaborate with colleagues in other departments to validate key data across diverse data environments.
- Identify, recommend, develop, and maintain relationships with traditional and non‑traditional economic and clinical partners to create new business ventures, services, expand geographic reach, open new markets, and grow market share.
- Consult with System, Delivery System and Service Line Leadership to develop and execute growth strategies and tactical plans that strengthen market value and share.
- Measure, analyze, and plan the implementation of System business and growth opportunities.
- Create financial models to support partnerships, joint ventures, acquisitions, divestitures, and market development plans.
- Utilize a wide variety of internal and external data sources to provide business intelligence that identifies and plans growth and improvement opportunities.
- Maintain a suite of quantitative models to provide system and market analyses that enable business, market, and strategy development.
- Support quantifiable analyses of strategic and business development portfolios to assess the impact of decisions on the System’s Mission and Vision.
- Start up, operate, and incubate new business ventures.
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent in business administration, medical administration, finance, economics, or a related field.
- Five years of relevant experience, preferably in a large matrixed organization.
- Master’s Degree or equivalent in business administration, finance, or a related field.
