Dixon Engineering is hiring Field Technicians/Inspectors to join our team! This entry-level role is perfect for candidates with some construction experience who are eager to learn and grow in the coating and engineering industry.

  • Conduct coating inspections on construction projects.
  • Complete field inspection reports.
  • Assist with on-site testing using specialized equipment.

Responsibilities
  • Oversee coating and construction work to ensure it meets project specifications.
  • Use testing tools to inspect the project at different stages.
  • Approve quality work, document issues, and write daily inspection reports.
  • Keep accurate records, including photos, for inspections.
  • Enforce safety practices to maintain a secure job site.
Qualifications
  • Valid driver’s license with a good driving record.
  • High school diploma required; some college or technical education in construction-related fields is a plus.
  • Able to pass a physical and work safely at heights.
  • Ability to work independently or with a team.
  • Experience performing quality work in construction.
  • Strong communication and documentation skills.
  • Basic computer skills for reporting.
  • Positive attitude and strong work ethic.
  • Ability to handle conflicts professionally on the job.

Compensation

$22 – $34 hourly
