Senior Concrete Poured Wall Setter

Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Concrete Poured Wall Setter to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic and a commitment to quality, safety, and teamwork. As a Concrete Wall Setter, you will play a crucial role in the construction process, working on various projects that require precision and attention to detail. Your responsibilities will include assisting in the preparation, pouring, and finishing of concrete while ensuring compliance with project specifications.

• Set and align concrete forms to desired depth, pitch, and alignment according to project specifications.
• Direct concrete placement, spread concrete, and use tools such as screeds and trowels to level and smooth the surface.
• Operate tools and machinery safely, including skid steers and power saws.
• Conduct quality control checks to ensure work meets project standards.
• Collaborate with team members to manage project scheduling and adhere to deadlines.
• Maintain accurate records of materials used and work completed for contract compliance.
• Ensure compliance with all safety protocols and procedures.

• Proficient in blueprint reading and understanding schematics related to construction projects.
• Strong organizational skills to manage tasks effectively on the construction site.
• Knowledge of quality control measures specific to concrete work.
• Experience with project scheduling techniques to ensure timely completion of tasks.
• Effective communication with supervisors, team members, and other tradespeople.
• Minimum 3 years of experience as a Concrete Poured Wall Setter (preferred).
• Holder of a valid driver’s license and ability to commute to Grand Rapids, MI; must be able to relocate to Grand Rapids, MI before starting work.
• Full-time position; expects in-person work schedule.

Full-time, $28.00 - $35.00 per hour.
