Construction Project Manager – Community​/Institutional Projects | Grand Rapids, MI

Job Summary

Own meaningful, community-facing projects while operating in a lean team where you’ll have real project autonomy and visibility.

Salary: $80,000 - $125,000 per year.

We’re representing a respected Michigan-based construction company known for quality building solutions delivered through integrity, value, and craftsmanship, with a strong focus on projects that positively impact the communities they serve.

This role requires you to fully own construction projects from start to finish without heavy oversight. Projects focus on sports and recreation, municipal, non‑profit, office, and select education‑related buildings—excluding industrial, multifamily, or heavy residential projects.

Typical project size is roughly $5M–$20M, with acceptable experience ranging from about $1M–$40M. Project durations typically run from 6 months to 1.5 years.

The ideal candidate can manage $10M projects from soup to nuts, handle all scopes, and thrive in a lean PM model.

Experience:

• 4+ years of construction project management (PM), associate project manager (APM), or professional engineer (PE) experience.
• Experience with a General Contractor and readiness to step fully into a PM seat.
