Position:
Project Superintendent
Salary: $125,000 - $145,000 per year
- Oversee all stages of the project life cycle and ensure activities are carried out according to plan.
- Prepare and deliver four‑week lookaheads to manage project expectations and ensure smooth operations.
- Develop and maintain project schedules, ensuring all deadlines are met.
- Manage and coordinate subcontractors effectively to ensure tasks are completed to our standard and on time.
- Lead and manage crews, ensuring they are well‑coordinated and work efficiently.
- Allocate manpower strategically to various tasks and projects, ensuring optimal productivity.
- Ensure that all safety regulations are adhered to, maintaining a safe and healthy work environment.
- Collaborate with various departments and stakeholders, providing regular updates on project progress.
- Identify potential issues or delays in the project and find effective solutions.
- Minimum of five years of experience in a similar construction industry role.
- Proven experience in managing crews, subcontractor management, scheduling, and manpower allocation.
- Excellent knowledge of construction procedures, materials, and project management principles.
- Exceptional leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and direct a team.
- Strong problem‑solving abilities and a proactive approach to identifying and resolving potential issues.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with a range of stakeholders.
- Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and meet deadlines.
- A strong commitment to maintaining high safety standards.
- Proficiency in project management software and the MS Office suite.
- Preferred:
Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field.
