Fabrication Project Manager

Occasional travel to customer sites, job sites, seminars, and training

Reliance One is hiring for one of our trusted clients! We are seeking an experienced Fabrication Project Manager to oversee estimating, project execution, procurement, scheduling, and customer communication for fabricated mechanical and piping projects. This is an excellent opportunity to join a growing team of project managers, tradespeople, engineers, and fabrication professionals delivering high-quality work safely, on time, and within budget.

• Manage multiple fabrication projects from kickoff through completion while building relationships with existing and new customers
• Prepare project estimates from specifications, drawings, isometrics (ISOs), and P&
• Track project costs, forecasting, and overall financial performance
• Coordinate with Quality Control to ensure code compliance for mechanical systems, including pipe and structural welding procedures and qualifications
• Prepare professional proposals, bid packages, and change order requests
• Organize and submit project documentation and customer submittals
• Develop and maintain project schedules, coordinating material procurement, equipment, subcontractors, labor, and deliveries
• Lead project progress meetings, maintain action-item lists, and resolve project issues proactively
• Collabore with fabrication leadership, shop personnel, field foremen, vendors, and customers throughout the project lifecycle

• Working knowledge of mechanical, process piping, HVAC, and plumbing systems
• Experience managing fabrication, mechanical, piping, or industrial construction projects preferred
• Strong estimating experience with construction drawings, ISOs, and P&IDs
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including advanced Excel skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Strong organizational, planning, analytical, and problem-solving abilities
• Customer-focused with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Demonstrated leadership, accountability, and teamwork skills
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively across multiple departments
