Travel Construction Superintendent

Overview

Fred Olivieri Construction Company is seeking a traveling Construction Superintendent to manage the construction of Retail/Restaurant projects across the United States. Required is a minimum of 10 years of experience.

• Manage all aspects of on-site construction activities for ground-up retail and restaurant projects
• Liaise with developers and client representatives, government officials, architects/engineers, and subcontractors
• Understand and enforce company safety requirements
• Develop, update, and maintain project schedules
• Monitor construction for compliance with plans and specifications
• Ensure quality standards are met or exceeded
• Determine and proactively communicate subcontractor workforce requirements
• Project reporting from startup through closeout using Procore Construction Management Software
• Establish and maintain a positive working environment
• Extended travel

• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Proven leadership ability with high professional and ethical standards
• Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
• Superior organizational skills
• Thorough knowledge of construction industry best practices and building codes
• Experience with Microsoft Office Suite, including Microsoft Project
• Minimum of 10 years’ experience

• Experience using Procore Construction Management Software
• OSHA 30 Hour Certification and First Aid and CPR Training
