Construction Superintendent Opportunity | Established commercial construction management firm in West Michigan
We are seeking an experienced Construction Superintendent to join our team. The role involves overseeing day-to-day field operations on commercial construction projects, ensuring work is completed safely, on schedule, and to quality standards.
Responsibilities- Manage and coordinate all on-site construction activities, including subcontractor scheduling and sequencing
- Enforce jobsite safety standards and ensure compliance with OSHA regulations
- Monitor project schedules and proactively address delays or conflicts
- Conduct quality control inspections throughout construction phases
- Coordinate with project managers, owners, architects, and inspectors
- Maintain daily logs, progress reports, and site documentation
- Lead pre-construction and weekly progress meetings with trade partners
- 5+ years of experience as a Construction Superintendent on commercial projects
- Strong knowledge of commercial construction methods and best practices
- Experience with industrial, institutional, and/or mixed-use project types preferred
- OSHA 30 certification preferred
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem‑solving skills
- Proficiency with scheduling software (Procore, Bluebeam, or similar)
