Salary: $100,000 - $150,000 per year
Job DetailsThe Construction Estimator will play a key role in developing accurate cost estimates and budgets for commercial construction projects. This individual will collaborate closely with preconstruction, operations, subcontractors, and clients to ensure competitive and comprehensive project pricing.
Key Responsibilities- Prepare conceptual, schematic, design development, and final construction estimates
- Solicit and evaluate subcontractor and supplier pricing
- Perform quantity takeoffs and detailed cost analyses
- Review drawings, specifications, and project documents for scope completeness
- Identify value engineering opportunities and cost-saving solutions
- Assist with bid preparation, proposal development, and client presentations
- Maintain relationships with subcontractors, vendors, and industry partners
- Support project teams during preconstruction and project handoff activities
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or related field preferred
- 3+ years of estimating experience within commercial construction
- Experience with ground-up and/or major renovation projects
- Strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and building systems
- Proficiency with estimating software and Microsoft Office Suite
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple estimates and deadlines simultaneously
