Customer Service Representative – Order Processing Specialist Grand Rapids, MI (On-Site) Monday–Friday | 8:00 AM–5:00 PM Salary: $40,000–$55,000 Annually (DOE)
About the Role Our client is seeking a detail-oriented Customer Service Representative to support customer orders from entry through delivery. This role is heavily focused on order processing, data entry, inventory checks, order accuracy, and customer communication. The ideal candidate enjoys working with customers, has strong attention to detail, and can manage multiple orders while ensuring accuracy and excellent service. Key Responsibilities
- Process customer orders accurately through internal systems.
- Review orders for correct quantities, pricing, ship-to information, and product availability.
- Confirm orders with customers and provide updates on status and delivery timelines.
- Check inventory levels and communicate product availability.
- Respond to customer inquiries by phone and email.
- Maintain accurate customer and order records.
- Partner with sales, warehouse, and shipping teams to resolve order issues.
Qualifications
- Previous customer service, order entry, sales support, or administrative experience.
- Strong data entry skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
- Comfortable working with customers by phone and email.
- Ability to learn new products and systems quickly.
