Early Childhood Assistant Teacher

Pay: $16-$18 per hour

The Learning Experience - Beltline is seeking a dependable and caring Early Childhood Assistant Teacher to support our classrooms and help create a positive, engaging learning environment for young children. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with children and wants to grow within a supportive early childhood education setting.

Our center offers a structured, play-based program where teamwork, consistency, and strong relationships with families are valued.

Your Role:

* Support Lead Teachers with daily classroom activities and routines

* Help maintain a safe, organized, and nurturing classroom environment

* Assist with hands-on learning experiences aligned with the L.E.A.P. curriculum

* Encourage positive behavior and support children's social and emotional development

* Share daily updates with families regarding activities and routines

* Maintain classroom cleanliness and follow all health and safety guidelines

* Collaborate with teaching teams and leadership to meet licensing and school standards

What We're Looking For:

* High school diploma or GED required

* Childcare, daycare, or preschool experience preferred

* Early childhood coursework or degree a plus

* Must meet Michigan childcare licensing and background requirements

* Reliable, positive, and team-oriented
