Part-Time Accelerated Math Teacher

Immaculate Heart of Mary School – Grand Rapids, Michigan

Immaculate Heart of Mary School is seeking a passionate and knowledgeable Part-Time Accelerated Math Teacher to join our team for the upcoming school year.

This position is ideal for an educator who enjoys working with high-achieving students and challenging them to reach their full potential in mathematics.

• Part-time position
• Three days per week
• Teach two class periods per day
• Small-group, accelerated math instruction
• Prepare students for success in Advanced High School Math courses

• Deliver engaging and rigorous math instruction at an accelerated pace for 5th-7th grade
• Challenge students through problem-solving, critical thinking, and advanced mathematical concepts
• Foster a positive and supportive learning environment
• Monitor student progress and provide feedback to students and families, including report cards
• Collaborate with school administration and faculty as needed

• Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Education, or a related field
• Teaching certification preferred
• Strong content knowledge in middle school and advanced mathematics
• Ability to inspire and motivate high-achieving students
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
