This position plays a pivotal role in supporting the evening operations of the Lakeshore Campus from 5:00 PM to 10:00 PM, Monday through Thursday. It serves as the primary point of contact during evening hours, providing essential assistance to students, faculty, staff, and external community members. The coordinator ensures smooth operation and security of the campus in collaboration with contracted security staff, implements emergency protocols, and responds promptly to incidents.
Schedule: Monday – Thursday, 5:00 PM – 10:00 PM (hours may vary depending on building schedule)
Compensation: OP3, $24.72 per hour
Benefits: Part Time
Reports to: Lakeshore Operations Manager
Essential Functions- Oversee evening operations of the Lakeshore Campus, ensuring smooth functioning and adherence to college policies and procedures.
- Implement emergency response protocols to ensure safety and security of students, faculty, and staff in collaboration with stakeholders.
- Collaborate with contracted security staff to maintain campus security and perform evening closure of facilities.
- Coordinate evening activity schedule and oversee setup/tear down of events, ensuring smooth operations and positive stakeholder experience.
- Coordinate evening class schedules and room assignments in collaboration with academic departments.
- Monitor and manage resources allocated for evening operations, including supplies, equipment, and budget expenditures.
- Address and enforce policies related to student conduct.
- Provide support to faculty during evening hours for classroom needs.
- Assist students with admissions, registration, and other support services in the evening.
- Collaborate with campus leadership to address operational issues or incidents.
- Work collaboratively with other college departments to ensure effective facility management.
- Demonstrate adaptability and willingness to work non‑traditional hours to meet event objectives and support college programming.
- Educational Credentials: Associate's degree or comparable combination of relevant education and experience.
- Work Experience: Three years of experience in a customer service role or office environment required. Experience in higher education preferred.

- Demonstrated ability to develop and maintain positive interpersonal relationships, motivate others, and work effectively as a member of a team.
- Ability to provide exceptional customer service and ensure staff and student employees excel in this function.
- Attention to detail, organizational skills, and problem‑solving ability.
- Flexible work schedule compliance.
- Compliance with all mandated health and safety requirements.
- Willing to work flexible hours to ensure smooth operation of the building and programs.
