HIGH SCHOOL FIRST ROBOTICS COMPETITION (FRC) HEAD COACH - SCHEDULE B

Lead and oversee the high school robotics program by coaching students, coordinating mentors, managing competitions and logistics, and ensuring a safe, well-organized program. This role includes supervising budgeting, paperwork, sponsors, grants, and physical resources; collaborating with staff and community partners; and supporting student recruitment, mentorship, and STEM connections throughout the school year and off-season.

• Ability to lead the EGRHS FRC as head coach
• Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills

• Ability to recruit and retain technical mentors from STEM fields
• Ability to schedule competitions and handle logistics
• Willingness to coordinate kick-off materials with the FRC community
• Ability to teach, delegate, motivate, encourage, recruit, and mentor high school students
• Ability to work cooperatively with students, parents, teachers, administrators, and community leaders
• Ability to manage the team budget and all FRC paperwork
• Willingness to oversee relationships with current sponsors and recruit new sponsors
• Ability to assist with off-season duties such as inventorying, ordering, budgeting, etc.
• Ability to identify grants that are applicable to FRC
• Willingness to manage FRC physical resources (parts, props, etc.)
• Willingness to act as a liaison with teachers to improve connections with the program by attending staff meetings, recruiting coaches, and participating in STEM planning
• Ability to oversee safety training for students
• Willingness and ability to maintain regular, reliable, and punctual attendance
• Ability to complete other duties as assigned
