We are seeking an English Teacher who brings strong content knowledge, a student-centered approach, and a genuine disposition to mentor as naturally as they teach.

• Design and deliver engaging, student-centered English instruction rooted in critical thinking, discussion, reading, and writing.
• Foster a classroom culture that encourages curiosity, creativity, communication, and active participation.
• Support students in developing strong analytical, writing, and communication skills.
• Collaborate with colleagues to strengthen curriculum and improve student outcomes.
• Use a variety of assessment methods to support and measure student growth.
• Integrate technology to enhance learning experiences.
• Support students both in and out of the classroom through availability and mentorship.
• Contribute to the broader school community through involvement beyond the classroom.
• Participate actively in professional development and school-wide initiatives.

• Hold (or be eligible for) a Michigan teaching certificate in English/Language Arts (BA or BQ preferred).
• Have a strong foundation in English content and instructional best practices.
• Are organized, engaging, and relational in your approach to teaching.
• Value collaboration and professional growth.
• Are committed to supporting the mission and identity of Catholic Central.
• Practicing Catholic preferred.
