Job Summary

The Sr.Development Specialist designs, develops, and builds high‑quality learning solutions that translate learning strategies and architectures into engaging, scalable, and impactful experiences. The role operates with autonomy, ensuring fidelity to design intent and alignment with enterprise standards, and incorporates strong instructional design, visual storytelling, and technical development.

Responsibilities
  • Learning Solution Development & Build
    • Lead design, development, and build of complex, multi‑modal learning solutions.
    • Translate concepts and design intent into instructionally sound, visually engaging, learner‑ready experiences.
    • Develop storyboards, visual designs, and interactive elements to bring learning journeys to life.
    • Leverage modern authoring tools and technologies to produce scalable, efficient, and high‑quality outputs.
    • Ensure solutions are ready for enterprise deployment across LMS/LXP platforms and diverse learner audiences.
  • SME Engagement & Content Development
    • Facilitate and lead SME working sessions to gather, structure, and refine content.
    • Translate inputs into clear, learner‑centered content and development assets.
    • Guide SMEs toward focused, relevant, outcome‑aligned contributions.
    • Identify and resolve content gaps or inconsistencies during development.
  • Instructional Design Application
    • Apply advanced instructional design principles to support learning objectives and behavior change.
    • Align content, activities, and assessments to establish learning goals and success measures.
    • Recommend enhancements for learner engagement, clarity, and retention.
    • Ensure balance between learner experience, usability, and technical feasibility.
  • Quality Assurance & Brand Alignment
    • Partner with L&D leadership to execute quality assurance processes and uphold brand standards.
    • Conduct thorough reviews for accuracy, consistency, and alignment to design intent.
    • Ensure outputs meet standards for visual design, instructional integrity, accessibility, and UX.
    • Contribute to refinement of templates, tools, and development practices.
  • Cross‑Functional Collaboration
    • Partner closely with Learning Architects and Program Leads to align development work with strategy and timelines.
    • Provide input on feasibility, development timelines, and execution considerations.
    • Maintain strong alignment across design, development, and delivery phases.
  • Continuous Improvement & Development Excellence
    • Identify opportunities to improve development efficiency, consistency, and scalability.
    • Contribute to reusable assets, templates, and repeatable development frameworks.
    • Incorporate feedback and performance insights to enhance future development work.
    • Stay current on emerging tools, technologies, and development best practices.
Qualifications
  • Demonstrated expertise in learning development, instructional design, and content creation.
  • Strong ability to translate strategies into high‑quality learning experiences.
  • Advanced skills in visual design, storyboarding, and learner experience development.
  • Proven experience leading SME content development and working sessions.
  • Ability to operate autonomously while staying aligned to strategy and design intent.
  • Proficiency with modern authoring tools and enterprise learning platforms.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Learning & Development, Education, Communications, Business, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 7–10+ years of experience in learning development or related roles.
  • Experience designing complex or enterprise‑scale learning initiatives.
Pay Details

The base compensation range for this position is $88,400–$119,600. Placement within the range will be based on a variety of factors, including skills, experience, qualifications, location, and internal equity. Candidates are expected to work on site to support collaboration and cross‑functional partnership.
