Welding Technology Adjunct Instructor

Job Summary

Adjunct instructor positions are part-time. Teaching assignments vary from semester to semester and are based on enrollment, so there may be semesters where no assignments are available.

• Teach courses in Welding Technology based on instructor qualifications.
• Evaluate and grade students’ class work, assignments, and papers.
• Prepare and deliver instructional materials (syllabi, homework assignments, handouts) in person and/or online.
• Initiate, facilitate, and moderate classroom discussions.
• Compile, administer, and grade examinations.
• Participate in required reporting processes (grades, participation).
• Assist students in connecting to college resources.

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Welding.
• Associate’s degree or higher in Welding Technology or a related field plus 3 years of related work experience (documentation required).
• Or 5 years of experience working in a welding position.
• Or certification from the American Welding Society or a similar recognized credential.
