Job Title:

1ST GRADE CLASSROOM PARA EDUCATOR

Support classroom instruction by assisting students individually and in small groups under the direction of the classroom teacher. This role helps implement lesson plans, adapts to changing classroom needs, maintains a positive learning environment, and works collaboratively while maintaining confidentiality.

• High school diploma (with college-level coursework in education preferred)
• Experience with instructional technology (preferred)
• Knowledge of basic first-aid procedures or willingness to be trained

• Ability to provide small group instruction
• Ability to be flexible and adapt to changing needs and assignments
• Ability to relate to children in a positive manner
• Ability to use a firm, but fair approach when working with elementary-age students
• Willingness to be a cooperative team player
• Excellent attendance record
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism
• Ability to display a positive, nurturing attitude with students at all times
• Willingness and ability to maintain regular, reliable, and punctual attendance
• Ability to perform other duties as assigned
