CONTRACT/STATUS: Full-time school year; hourly position (40 hours/week)

REPORTS TO: Building Principal, Early Learning Center (ELC) Director

Grand Rapids Christian Elementary School, Evergreen Campus is seeking a new Great Start Readiness Program (GSRP) Associate Teacher. We are seeking friendly, responsible, and collaborative candidates for our four-year-old preschool classroom. Applicants must possess a deep commitment to Christian education.

• Demonstrate care and compassion for children in a preschool learning environment
• Provide a safe and healthy environment for students by following all licensing guidelines
• Assist the lead teacher with leading and guiding small and whole group lessons, classroom management, and activities
• Actively participate in ongoing professional development
• Ensure the classroom is kept in a clean and safe condition
• Provide instructional support to the lead teacher as necessary

• Must possess a CDA (Child Development Associate) credential
• TB Test, if offered the position
• CPR/First Aid Certified or willing to obtain, if offered a position
• Complete and pass the state‑required background check
• Complete Mi Registry Health & Safety 1 & 2 training
• Must be able to stand and move around for long periods of time
