Effective: 2026-27 School Year. Central Kelloggsville Elementary – Grand Rapids, Michigan.

Starting Date: Immediately |
Position Type: Full‑Time.

• Current Michigan Teaching Certificate with MB Endorsement required.
• Bilingual skills preferred.
• Citizenship, residency or work visa required.

• Teach physical education classes consistent with the district’s goals and objectives.
• Apply current instructional methods and differentiate instruction based on student learning styles.
• Develop skills and abilities in physical fitness, rhythm and dance, coordination and agility, exercise, and sports.
• Maintain high organizational skills and classroom management to support learning.
• Create and maintain a positive, safe learning environment for all students.
• Build and sustain positive relationships with students.
• Communicate ideas clearly and concisely, both verbally and in writing.
• Collaborate effectively with parents, staff, students, and the public in a multicultural and multiracial community.
• Recognize personal cultural identity and understand its influence on behavior; seek to learn about others’ cultural identities.
• Promote cultural competence and equitable treatment of staff, students, and district patrons.
• Celebrate each individual’s unique contributions while honoring shared cultural heritage.
