POSITION TITLE:Academic Interventionist (K–4th Grade)
BUILDING: Grand Rapids Christian Elementary School Iroquois (GRCES IR)
CONTRACT: school-year, approx. 22–24 hours weekly
REPORTS TO: Building Principal, Educational Support Services Coordinator
COORDINATES WITH: Educational Support Services Coordinator, Academic Interventionist Team, Classroom Teachers
POSITION SUMMARYThe Academic Interventionist will support students requiring academic intervention at Grand Rapids Christian Elementary School, Iroquois Campus.
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES- Instruct small groups of students with targeted instruction
- Provide tier 2 and tier 3 services
- Michigan Teaching Certificate preferred, but not required
- Disciple of Christ
- Culturally competent professional
- Communicator and collaborator
- Thoughtful neighbor
- Creative solution finder
