Position: ELA Teacher 6th Grade Posting # 4062

Minimum starting salary of $55,000 a year

Qualifications:
  • Valid Michigan teaching certificate required.
  • Must be highly qualified to teach Middle School English
  • Highly Qualified English Language Arts (BA or BX) endorsements preferred.
Job Responsibilities:
  • Use research-based practices to deliver high-impact instruction
  • Have the ability to differentiate instruction to meet the needs of all learners
  • Demonstrate ability to collaborate and alsouse data to drive instruction - specifically to adjust instruction to students reading below grade level
  • Understanding of the 5 Big Ideas of Reading
  • Experience with EL students preferred
  • Perform other duties as assigned
