Duties and Responsibilities:

* Collaborating with the administrator over special education to develop and coordinate daily service schedules, evaluation timelines, and annual IEP meetings

* Participating in multidisciplinary team meetings, including eligibility determinations, annual reviews, and progress monitoring discussions

* Conducting speech and language evaluations and contributing to assessment planning as part of the special education process

* Developing, implementing, and monitoring individualized speech-language goals aligned with each student's IEP

* Providing specially designed instruction to meet the unique communication needs of students through a variety of service models.

* Documenting service delivery, progress notes, and compliance-related paperwork in accordance with state, federal, and organizational guidelines

* Consulting with teachers and families to support carryover of communication strategies across classroom and home environments

* Maintaining accurate and up-to-date records.

* Other duties as assigned.

NHA provides specially designed instruction developed to meet the unique needs of each child as a result of their disability, and the SLP plays a critical role in supporting student access to instruction and overall academic success.

Qualifications:

* Must hold a master's degree in speech language pathology - CCC (Certificate of Clinical Competence) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Associate (ASHA).

* Experience working with at-risk student populations

* Experience in a school-based or pediatric environment

* Familiarity with IEP development, special education compliance, and collaborative service delivery models
