Job Title: ELEMENTARY STUDENT SUPERVISION COORDINATOR
Support a safe, positive, and engaging lunchroom and playground environment by supervising elementary students. This role includes working with students on minor conflicts using corrective and restorative approaches, supporting consistent behavioral practices, tracking behavior data, and collaborating with staff and families to promote successful student outcomes while maintaining confidentiality.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma (with college-level coursework in education preferred)
- Experience with Restorative Practices (preferred)
- CPI (Nonviolent Crisis Intervention) or Ukeru certification or willingness to become certified
- CPR certification or willingness to become certified
- Experience working with elementary students (preferred)
Essential Functions:
- Ability to supervise elementary students during both lunch and recess to ensure the lunchroom and playground are fun, safe places for children
- Ability to conference with students regarding minor behavioral issues and engage students in corrective instruction supporting successful outcomes related to student conflict
- Ability to assist in teaching students and para educators playground, lunchroom, hallway, and building behavioral expectations
- Ability to effectively communicate and build relationships with students, staff, and families
- Ability to understand and implement effective behavioral supports, including data tracking for students with plans
- Ability to learn and adapt to students’ behavior needs
- Ability to input and organize behavior data in various platforms (Google, SWIS, etc.)
- Willingness to pursue professional training and growth
- Ability to work independently and maintain confidentiality
- Excellent attention to detail
- Appreciation for diversity and individuals with disabilities
- Willingness and ability to maintain regular, reliable, and punctual attendance
- Ability to complete other duties as assigned
Location: Wealthy Elementary School
Rate: Support Contract, Para educator, Category III
Hours: Monday-Friday, 10:00 a.m.
- 3:30 p.m. (25 hours per week)
Start Date: August 2026
