SCHEDULE:18 hours/week, full school year; hourly per GRCS support staff rate

COORDINATES WITH:Preschool Administrator, Building Principal, and Dean of Students

The Kids Care Program Administrator/Lead is responsible for supporting efforts to ensure quality before and after-school programming for children PreK through 5th grade in the Kids Care program at Rockford Christian School.

• Administer all aspects of the Kids Care program, including student registration, family communication, program routines, as well as staff hiring, scheduling, and training.
• Supervises staff and children during the After Care hours of 3:00–5:30 p.m. to ensure active supervision and licensing compliance.
• Prepares and maintains an inventory of supplies and toys.
• Supports the Preschool Administrator's efforts to effectively meet State of Michigan Child Care licensing requirements for the Preschool and Kids Care programs.
• Maintains the Kids Care Handbook in coordination with the Preschool Administrator.

• Bachelor’s or associate's degree in a child-related field or a Child Development Associate (CDA)
• Relevant early childhood teaching and/or administrative experience
• Communicates effectively verbally and in writing
• Clerical experience preferred
• Committed to continued annual training requirements
