Adjunct - Voice​/Applied Lessons

Cornerstone University seeks an adjunct (part-time) instructor(s) to teach Voice/Applied Lessons for Fall 2026. Qualified candidates will demonstrate skill and experience across genres including classical, contemporary, and sacred technique and repertoire. The position includes from 15 to 20 students in weekly one half-hour or one hour private lessons (scheduling of days and times is flexible), supervision of recitals (2 each semester this year), grading voice juries, and teaching the one-hour Performance Lab course.

• A bachelor’s degree in Music or Performance and, ideally, at least 18 credit hours of graduate study in Music or Performance
• Experience in solo vocal performance
• Experience in worship leading and/or knowledge of worship repertoire

• A master’s degree and/or doctorate in Performance
• Professional experience as a vocal performer
• Previous experience as a college educator

Adjunct pay varies with the number of credits taught, the course modality, and faculty credentials.
